Durante la última década, Red Bull ha apoyado a pilotos muy buenos, pero tal vez, tal vez, haya encontrado por fin a su auténtica estrella: el neozelandés Brendon Hartley, de 17 años. Va en cabeza de la F-Renault Eurocup de este año con el equipo Epsilon Euskadi patrocinado por Red Bull (tres victorias en las seis primeras carreras), pero fue su debut en F3 lo que causó sensación. Sustituyendo a Sébastien Buemi(a su vez rumbo a la GP2) en el equipo Mücke de Red Bull, Hartley calificó sexto y acabó cuarto en el Masters F3 de Zolder.
En Nueva Zelanda, Hartley corría desde los 13 años, y esta es su quinta temporada al volante. Red Bull lo pilló al final de 2005 y lo trajo a Europa, y parece preparado para trepar por el escalafón de Red Bull hasta donde llegue.

Over the last decade, Red Bull has supported great drivers but maybe, maybe, has finally found its true star: the Kiwi Brendon Hartley, 17. He's on top of the F-Renault Eurocup this year with Epsilon Euskadi team sponsored by Red Bull (three wins in six races) but it was his debut in F3 which caused a sensation. Replacing Sébastien Buemi (heading to GP2) in the Red Bull team Mücke Hartley qualified sixth and finished fourth in the F3 Masters at Zolder.
In New Zealand, Hartley ran since 13 years old and this is his fifth season at the wheel. Red Bull caught him at the end of 2005 and brought him to Europe, and he seems prepared to climb the ladder of Red Bull the most he can.
